Karwar, Karnataka: A head constable from Karwar district was arrested alongside another individual for smuggling Goa-made liquor into Karnataka. The Karnataka police intercepted their vehicle near Majali after a high-speed chase initiated by election officials when the suspects ignored the Pollem Check Post.
